
The post-apocalyptic genre of film making really took off in the late 70?s and early 80?s, largely because it took very little money to make a post-apocalyptic movie.? When all you need are a couple rusting old cars, some out-of-fashion clothes from a decade ago, military surplus, and camping equipment, its not surprising that any Tom, Dick, or Harry can churn out one of these puppies without having much in the way of capital.?
